Primary Function
The position is responsible for leading the Consumer Notebook CoCommit Business Management Team to deliver on its charter of (1) coordinating demand planning processes with the regions including product transition planning, (2) leading the demand supply matching process to optimize the use of available supply and maximize the commit, (3) ensure the integrity of the demand and supply signals together with clear understanding of week over week changes, (4) monitor and manage alignment of the demand signal with aspire and business plan, (5) Stay within IDC and inventory objectives, and (6) Providing process leadership and driving process improvement. The position will lead or participate in key forums such as co-commit core team, SC Ops community forum, Operations Summit and weekly/monthly region reviews; and provide process improvement project sponsorship.
Key Deliverables

1. Demand plan quality
2. Demand - Supply Matching processes
3. EOL & Transition management
4. Cycle planning process
5. Alignment of demand plan within agreed threshold to Aspire/BOP plan
6. Allocations decisions - NPI ramp, E&O allocation
7. Deliver Accuracy and Attainment forecast metrics
8. Drive collaboration and alignment with other Supply Chain functions such as Commodity Planning, Supply Planning, NPI, PDM, and Factory Operations; GBU function and Region teams to enable industry leading operational excellence.
9. Participate and Lead process improvement initiatives and be a key member of co-commit core team
10. Extended member of Consumer Notebook BU staff
Qualifications
Experiences & Skillsets
The successful candidate will possess the following skill sets and experiences.
1. Bachelor''s degree required; Master''s degree preferred
2. Direct experience in demand planning - GBU or region
3. Excellent understanding of demand and supply planning processes, business operations, and strategy
4. Excellent analytical thinking, analysis, data modelling, and problem-solving skills
5. Excellent project management skills, including time and risk management, and project structuring
6. Advanced leadership skills, including coaching, team-building, conflict resolution, and management
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including advanced negotiation, presentation, and influence skills
8. Superior business acumen, technical knowledge of multiple business units, and extensive knowledge in applications and technologies
9. Advanced multi-tasking and prioritization skills
10. Advanced relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting
11. Experience in PC industry or similar fast paced industry & experience working with Asian-based partners
12. SAP APO experience desired
