Description
HP is seeking a Program Manager with 7+ years of large program business program experience, ideally in modernizing Government/DHS infrastructure/application environments
This person will be required to work onsite in Springfield, VA. The Program Manager is responsible for managing the HP Enterprise Services program. The ideal candidate for this position must have at least seven years of experience with managing large complex ITO programs, knowledge of technical concepts (Data Center O&M, software installation, technology modernization, application management, database engneering, resource management, and a solid knowledge of financial concepts) Leadership and management experince, managing large teams of 30+ resources (both internal and contingent resources) .
Experience with prior DHS/CBP preferred. This person must be able to obtain the DHS clearance.

Experience managing large complex programs including the following: Data Center hardware installation and maintenance,
Software installations and migrations,
Server management and monitoring,
Application management and monitoring,
Storage Area Network (SAN) management and monitoring,
Change control and configuration management,
Continuity of operations and disaster recovery,
Business continuity assessments, planning and testing, and
Database engineering, management, monitoring and administration.
In depth experience in re-engineering, refining and adapting to new infrastructuire environments
Ability to ''translate'' end user business requirements into requirements aligned with the technical solution
Ability to work with users to prioritize and simplify business process requirements
Assess and recommend trade-offs between business process requirements and technical functionality
Qualifications
Education and Experience Required:
First Level University degree 5 years experience in project management or in like roles/businesses
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of key HP Services'' operational policies, processes and methodologies applicable to project management. Speaks with expertise to many layers of depth related to project management methods Participates in the HP Program Manager (PM) Professions community On the Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification path
