The candidate will function as a PLM Architect with a focus on Siemens TcU/NX insuring the organization most effectively achieves its current and future objectives. The candidate must have the ability to quickly understand requirements, review vendor approaches, understand business implications, determine key functional differences when applied to business situations and propose the most appropriate course of action to provide solutions maximizing business value. The candidate will be responsible for the practice of conducting enterprise analysis, design, planning, and implementation, using a holistic approach at all times, for the successful development and execution of the NNS PLM strategy. This includes applying principles and practices to guide the organizations through the business, information, process, and technology changes necessary to execute the NNS PLM strategy. The candidate shall insure alignment between IT and business concerns, as well as to guide the process of planning and design of the enterprise IT capabilities in order to meet desired organizational objectives. This includes developing and guiding the fundamental concepts or properties of the enterprise systems.
The candidate must have a clear understanding of Siemens toolsets and processes related to Model Based Design, development of EBOM and MBOM, integration into Visual Planning and Work Orders and downstream execution systems. This includes a good understand of ERP integration issues and relationship to MES toolsets. Candidate must be familiar with technical tools relative to business approaches in the space, and be able to develop IT enabling strategies. Candidate must have in depth knowledge of TeamCenter Unified/NX architecture and tool capabilities including data exchange capabilities.
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
