Government Funding Support Administrator


Job Description

BAE Systems is looking for a qualified professional to join our team for an exciting opportunity supporting sustainment and acquisition efforts for the Minuteman III weapon system. The Minuteman III weapon system is a 1970s era weapon system and is scheduled to be retained as the United States military's prompt, global strike deterrent system through 2036.

This position is located at or near Hill AFB, Utah

The successful candidate will provide direct support to designated Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Systems Directorate personnel within the Ground Mechanical Branch.

Typical Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Support assigned Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and the associated Working Groups (WGs)
  • Submit 206 funding requests
  • Create and track CAM out of cycle funding requests
  • Knowledgeable in the use of CCaRS
  • Provide all necessary attachments for funding documents​
  • SOW, SOO, PWS
  • CDRL packages​​​​
  • Complete MIPR checklists
  • Description/ impact/ justification
  • Other duties and responsibilities as needed
  • ​​Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Required Skills and Education
  • Seven (7) years experience of experience working with CCaRs working funding documents or knowledge in Government finance
  • Three (3) years in providing technical leadership
  • Able to work in government facility with minimal supervision
  • Detailed oriented, with exceptional time management skills; ability to multitask and balance competing priorities in an effective manner; ability to work independently with minimal oversight
  • Ability to analyze data for trends and provide recommendations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Strong interpersonal skills; works well with others; and responds well to direction
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with people
  • Strong oral and written communication skills


Preferred Skills and Education
  • DoD acquisition and/or sustainment experience
  • ​Familiarity with Air Force funding, budget and financial processes
  • ​Experience with Government cost and accounting systems
  • Familiarity with Risk management, resource planning and scheduling
