Job Description
Do you enjoy travel and working in a dynamic Engineering and Avionics environment providing comprehensive RF Electronic Warfare (EW) Field Engineering Sustainment at a designated Main Operating Base (MOB) in California supporting back shop (I-Level) and aircraft capabilities?

The inspired and successful Field Engineering 2 candidate will be immersed in RFEW Systems providing comprehensive U2 Electronic Warfare (EW) Field Engineering Services primarily at the MOB and support other TDY worldwide locations for periods of approximately 2-4 weeks in duration. Working closely with customers, and communicating with program management, site lead and team members to ensure the technical aspects are tested/fielded. Provide onsite technical services for back shop maintenance and test of EW equipment and associated hardware for all Program EW systems; perform engineering tasks associated with EW mission support to include EW aircraft troubleshooting, equipment supportability; Analyze software, hardware, and system problems and provide problem resolution to include testing, and analyzing.

Successful candidate must be proficient using electronics laboratory Test Equipment (O'Scope, Analyzer, etc) associated with EW fault diagnostics, troubleshooting and repair. Possess Organizational Level EW or RF troubleshooting abilities and experience. Possess a comprehensive knowledge of aircraft electrical generation and distribution systems. Must be able to read/understand aircraft wiring diagrams, technical manuals and schematics. Support additional U2 Program requirements as directed by the Program Manager. Travel flexibility

Required Skills and Education
Active/Current Secret Security Clearance
US Passport or qualified to obtain passport.
Flexible Travel Schedule Excellent Customer Communication skills, work in a team environment
Self-starter, administrative proficiency,
2 years RF EW experience
Avionics background
Electronics Maintenance and Troubleshooting knowledge.
Hardware and Software systems integration and troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills and Education
USAF Supply and Material processing experience
U2 Avionics Experience and knowledge
USAF Technical Publications familiarization
