This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the Environmental compliance and reporting toolsets for North America Operations supporting ongoing compliance initiatives. The Environmental Data Analyst will have to travel to sites throughout North America.

What will you do?
  • Apply advanced analytics by identifying trends and evidence of non-compliance for the North American Environmental group. Provide approved data reports to support analytical decisions, facilitate other process improvement activities, and prepare various ad hoc analyses. Research potential solutions; make recommendations to meet business objectives.
  • Build, manipulate, maintain and implement databases, data structures, and data processes to meet business needs. Collaborate with others to categorize and aggregate data to develop and improve dashboards. Identify opportunities for standardization of processes to ensure best practices across all facilities.
  • Partner with the Environmental Leadership and Regulatory Affairs team in the ongoing support of compliance processes, regulatory monitoring, and engagement with local, state/provincial, and federal policy and rule making efforts. Participate in special projects and respond to inquiries or adhoc requests as needed.
  • Build strong relationship with business stakeholders, learn business processes and logics, gather business requirements. Provide training for employees utilizing analytical software and maintain up-to-date training materials.
  • Maintain and build partnership with IT in development of new Metric dashboards as needed.

What do you need for this role?
  • Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of data analytics to include: data warehouses and data modeling
  • 2 years working with environmental data
  • Experience working with operations or cross-functional teams
  • Experience working on multiple projects/initiatives
  • Advanced Excel experience required
  • Bachelor' Degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Other relevant degree preferred
  • SQL, Quantrix experience preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient experience in querying and reporting from relational databases
  • Must have critical thinking, organizational, and project management skills
  • Demonstrated self-starter and self-motivator.

The work environment is typically indoors and typically in a consistent temperature.
