Industrial Security Risk Manager

As our Industrial Security Risk Manager, you will act as the Facility Security Officer's (FSO) right-hand man/woman, aiding the FSO in managing the Indianapolis Corporate & Defense Security team to help ensure mission essential tasks are accomplished. Moreover, you will attend pivotal meetings and routinely engage Rolls-Royce leadership as it pertains to the establishment and maintenance of security programs across business.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Assists the Facility Security Officer (FSO) in the development of policies and procedures to ensure national security information, intellectual property, company assets and personnel are safeguarded in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and company policies
  • Supports the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) and Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) with the timely submission of accreditation packages for various Information Technology (IT) networks under the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • Aids the ISSM and ISSO in the formulation and follow through of detailed and achievable Plans of Action and Milestones (POAM) for accredited systems
  • Facilitates and at times leads investigations of suspected or actual violations of company or NISP policies
  • Provides redundant capability regarding the submission, tracking and maintenance of Personnel Security Clearances via the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) and/or the Defense Information System for Security (DISS)
  • Oversees physical security requirements for all company sites across Indianapolis, as well as providing guidance regarding physical security requirements for all sites across the U.S. and Defense
  • Reviews all contractual requirements to extract Corporate & Defense Security obligations; ensuring leadership remains cognizant of security related concerns in the pursuance of existing and new programs
  • At the direction and with the support of the FSO, guides the Indianapolis Corporate & Defense Security team with the prioritization and accomplishments of team objectives

Basic Requirements:
  • Associates degree with 7 years of corporate security, government security, regulatory compliance, and /or risk management experience, OR
  • Bachelors degree with 5 years of corporate security, government security, regulatory compliance, and /or risk management experience, OR
  • Masters degree with 3 years of corporate security, government security, regulatory compliance, and /or risk management experience, OR
  • JD/PhD, OR
  • In lieu of degree 9 years of corporate security, government security, regulatory compliance, and /or risk management experience
  • In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be eligible to obtain and maintain security clearance, which requires USA Citizenship (Secret Clearance)

Preferred:
  • Industrial and Physical security experience
  • Experience working on multiple concurrent projects with critical deadlines
  • Extensive experience creating and presenting executive presentations, reports, communications, and briefs for senior level stakeholders
