As a Talent Manager, you will oversee the full-cycle recruiting process for your assigned client groups; executing a recruiting plan using best practices and creative sourcing strategies and resources to attract, assess and retain top diverse talent. Additionally, this role will help support the execution and processes of our Diversity & Inclusion, Succession Planning, and Career Pathing initiatives.

This role reports to the Talent Director and supports execution of talent operations activities including enhancing tools, systems, processes and data analytics to drive talent strategy, diversity and engagement initiatives.

This role will be based in Jericho, LI NY and responsibilities include and are not limited to:

Execute requisition-specific talent acquisition strategies for all assigned roles including create and implement sourcing strategies that enhance our employer brand while focusing on an effective and cost efficient talent selection process that identifies the most qualified diverse top candidates

  • Gain understanding of businesses and their respective recruiting needs by partnering with HR Business Partners, Hiring Managers and Talent Team to build the story of why each position is exciting, coupled with the respective goals and expectations

  • Building and maintaining credibility by understanding job types and job roles across the organization and leading hiring managers in the talent acquisition process; simultaneously sourcing for multiple searches and managing within a matrix organization while providing hiring stakeholders with guidance in interviewing, selecting, negotiating and closing hires while and delivering exceptional experiences

  • Developing candidate talent pipelines through sourcing channels, recruitment campaigns, internet searches, networking groups, social media, database search, referrals and advertising including providing complete, accurate and inspiring information to candidates about the company and position, reinforcing our values and culture and being a company ambassador to attract top talent and delivering exceptional experiences

Execute talent operations to optimize efficiencies to support the delivery of best in class Talent and Engagement Programs for the organization while adhering to compliance and hiring standards, pre-employment and onboarding activities.

  • Day to day administration of talent operations activities including database maintenance of systems/tools, administer behavioral assessment tests, monitor and analyze background investigation results, manage orientation program, maintain internal and external career websites, and respond general verbal/written requests.

  • Create, generate, and maintain effective analytics including, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Diversity, Compliance, and other key performance indicators; generating ad-hoc reports as needed, including dashboards and data insights at monthly, quarterly, and annual intervals. Executes on a regular monthly audit schedule to review data integrity of HR Systems and Tools.

Aid in the cadence of talent reviews and succession planning to close talent gaps. Where appropriate, leverage existing programs and processes and collaborate with broader Talent team to drive new and innovative solutions.

  • Aids in the building of strong and diverse talent pipelines for critical roles within the organization and assists talent in realizing career aspirations.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Who We Want

  • Candidates with advanced degrees (Associates, Bachelor's, and/or Master's) strongly preferred, yet a High School Diploma or GED is required. Candidates with some combination of coursework and experience, or else extensive related professional experience, are eligible for consideration.
  • At least 4 years of relevant and progressive experience in human resources required. Candidates with a passion and experience in Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Engagement and/or Diversity and Inclusion in a COE environment, is a plus.
  • Proven track record to develop, cultivate and leverage a professional network that yields candidates and referrals along with effectively matching the needs and interests of the company and the candidate while selling against competitive opportunities.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state labor laws, including experience with complying with requests from internal/external auditors.
  • Demonstrated experience/maturity to handle confidential and sensitive information.
  • Hands-on experience with HR Systems/Tools, specifically database maintenance including design, development, testing and deployment of new reports/integrations/dashboards. Experience with Oracle, Taleo, Glint, Predictive Index and a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills, with a diverse set of audiences, problem solving, and time management skills; along with strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
