Summary:

We are seeking an experienced, motivated IT professional to lead the development and management of SAP Extended Warehouse Management. Specific responsibilities for this highly skilled subject matter expert include but are not limited to:
  • Deliver capabilities within SAP's Extended Warehouse Management system and integration of EWM processes with core Finance, Order to Cash, and other Supply Chain processes
  • Contribute to the value creation for Extend Warehouse Management processes and supporting systems
  • Advocate for change within the Hershey employee and partner network
  • Act in Business Transformation Lead Role on key projects to facilitate the deployment of systems, mergers/acquisitions, and technology upgrades following Agile or Waterfall methodologies
  • Engage with Hershey Logistics, Supply Chain, and Finance organizations to jointly determine strategic direction, roadmap for technology, and tactical implementation of advanced capabilities
  • Engage with Hershey Information Services (IS) organization to represent manufacturing plants and Hershey operated distribution centers business priorities and ensure effective support and deployment of new capabilities and enhancements


Major Duties/Responsibilities:

Deliver Internal Warehouse Management solutions as IS subject matter expert

  • Understand requirements and implement systems solutions to enable and support complex business processes.
  • Work collaboratively with business strategists, process owners and subject matter experts.
  • Analyze business needs, define detailed requirements, and validate potential solutions with the business, following IS standards and methodologies.
  • Facilitate solutions, define deliverables, and conduct structured design reviews with technical development teams to ensure consistent, well-integrated solutions.
  • Ensure business objectives and conditions of satisfaction (metrics) are met.
  • Coordinate with IS teams to prioritize and implement changes and strategies.
  • Coordinate with architecture and technical teams to manage application lifecycle.


Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Work with business leaders to define options, risks, costs, benefits, and impacts on products, processes, and strategy.
  • Collaborate with business strategists, process owners, and subject matter experts to audit and map business processes.
  • Engage with external partners to leverage their expertise and resources to maintain and advance systems and technologies.
  • Contribute to the development of technical or business process expertise across the organization by sharing information with teammates and business partners.


Develop and deliver against strategic roadmap

  • Assist in the development of the strategic technology roadmap, justification and prioritization of technology initiatives, and identification of innovation opportunities.
  • Document system architecture plans and describe how the architecture aligns with business strategy.
  • Represent business requirements and priorities to IS while also representing the IS platform and programs to the business.
  • Research and evaluate best practices and emerging technology, industry, and market trends to drive optimization of delivered solutions.
  • Engage in product, technology, and vendor evaluations and benchmarking activities.
  • Participate actively in industry user groups.


Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Supply Chain


Experience:

  • 5-7 years of experience in application analysis, development, configuration, implementation, and support of Logistics or Supply Chain systems
  • 2-4 years of functional experience with design, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP WM/EWM, supply chain logistics and inventory control processes that support primarily a manufacturing facility with overlap of a distribution center.
  • Experience within the Consumer Packaged Goods industry preferred
  • Experience with global technology implementations
  • Strong understanding of Supply Chain processes (i.e., order management, logistics, manufacturing, supply/demand planning, and procurement)
  • Hands-on functional and technical experience with SAP MM, IM, WM/EWM (ECC 6.0 minimum, S/4HANA a plus)
  • Functional understanding of standard interfaces built upon EDI, XML, API and IDOC transactions
  • Experience with Agile methodology
