Programmer Analyst - Supervisor

Responsibilities
As the Programmer Analyst Supervisor, you will provide oversight for design and
implementation of wireless network system for a university medical center;
perform a lead role in system architecture, planning, assessment, enterprise
project documentation, build, installation, performance monitoring,
optimization, troubleshooting and maintenance; design and deploy next
generation wireless functionality with ClearPass Policy Manager platform for
authentication, 'bring your own device' (BYOD) onboarding and security roles in
conjunction with controller firewall security enforcement; integrate wireless
local area network (WLAN) with Mobile Device Management (MDM) platform; design
and implement secure wireless configurations for new wireless platforms and
medical devices introduced into the enterprise that comply with HIPAA and Office
of Compliance Services' privacy and security requirements; provide escalation
support for wireless system; and provide day-to-day support of the 24 x 7
production environment of the enterprise network/VoIP system.Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in computer
    science, physics, electronics engineering or related field and 9 years of experience
    in job offered, or as a wireless engineer or a related occupational title.
    Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent
    plus 7 years of experience.
  • The following experience may be gained in
    conjunction with the number of years of required experience, not in addition to:
    six years of experience in a large network enterprise environment with network
    design infrastructure technology experience; four years of experience in hands
    on Aruba wireless network design/support role.
  • The following skills may be acquired through work experience or university
    education with no set unit of time as a measurement of proficiency: Demonstrated
    knowledge of network design, computer security and management; demonstrated
    experience with network architecture design and implementation
    of network engineering projects; demonstrated experience in implementing
    project management methodologies; demonstrated experience with budget and
    resource management; demonstrated experience with technological research and
    design; demonstrated experience in directing large-scale project implementations;
    demonstrated experience with Aruba OS, Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager, Aruba
    AirWave Management Platform, Cisco Wireless Control System, AirMagnet
    Survey/Planner, AirMagnet WiFi Analyer, AirMagnet Spectrum Analyzer, Windows,
    Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, Cisco Unified Communications Systems, packet analyzer;
    demonstrated experience with Aruba Wireless Controller/Access Points, Cisco
    Wireless Controller/Access Points, Cisco routers and switches, Nexus switches, firewall, voice
    gateway, Cisco Access server and VPN; demonstrated experience with VOIP,
    Wireless, MPLS, VPLS, QOS, ISDN, ATM, Multicast Video, DWDM Conferencing, OSPF,
    BGP, EIGRP, IS/IS, RIP, wireless, security, DNS, DHCP, NAT, DNS, L3TP, PKI
    Bridging; and Aruba Certified Mobility Expert (ACMX) Certification.
