This opportunity is accountable for providing routine clerical support and assistance to underwriting staff by collecting data for and organizing reports, performing administrative duties regarding new and renewal accounts and any other tasks assigned by higher level underwriters to meet established department objectives.
Primary Responsibilities
Assist underwriting staff in the day to day operation of the team by assisting with reports, information, and other data; contribute to the preparation of documents by adhering to deadlines and guidelines@@Support underwriting staff with routine clerical support to meet established department objectives; perform administrative tasks related to new and renewal accounts@@Collect, organize and enter data promptly and accurately by adhering to deadlines and guidelines to develop reports for underwriting staff@@Align individual performance with department expectations by adhering to established schedules, setting work-related goals and communicating individual objectives and progress@@Build relationships with team members by participating in underwriting related projects as needed@@Contribute to a positive work environment by demonstrating cultural expectations and influencing others to reward performance and value "can do" people, accountability, diversity and inclusion, flexibility, continuous improvement, collaboration, creativity and fun

Required Qualifications.

Education
High School Diploma/GED

Physical demands
General office jobs: Work is generally performed in an office environment in which there is not substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions. Must have the ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time. Must be able to operate basic office equipment including telephone, headset and computer. Incumbent must be able to lift basic office equipment up to 20 lbs.
