Job Summary

This opportunity is open to current PSEG employees only.

This position will be responsible for understanding and facilitating excellence in all aspects of day-to-day shift operations for the Nuclear Security department.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support daily security operations, work with shift supervision to assist team with equipment, operational, and or regulatory issues as needed.
  • . Implement and maintain operational performance indicators.
  • Benchmark other departments and peers.
  • Evaluate revisions to procedures and implement as necessary.
  • Maintain/update the Security POD on a daily basis, ensuring that security equipment issues are appropriately prioritized and acted upon in a timely manner.
  • . Interfacing with various departments to identify the appropriate work owners, coordinating security support if needed, and drive issues to resolution to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Screen security related notifications to verify SER log entries are made when appropriate and to verify the notification is properly prioritized IAW site procedures. Participate/lead self-assessments, performing evaluations, and Operational Experience (O


Job Specific Qualifications

Required:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must meet and maintain NuclearÂ's requirements for unescorted plant access; 2 - 5 years previous supervisory, engineering, or project management experience in a nuclear power plant.


DESIRED:
  • BS degree in related field
  • 5 -7 years nuclear and/or industrial experience
