DTC Merchandising Manager

Facebook Reality Labs is growing the Merchandising team. This team is redefining how merchandising operates across our global business. The Merchandising Team balances art and science while influencing within a highly matrixed organization. The DTC Merchandising Manager is responsible for developing innovative omni channel merchandising strategies focused on delivering both sales and customer experience goals. This role is highly collaborative with room to grow and lead.

Required Skills

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams (sales, marketing, creative, product management, analytics) to execute merchandising strategies in season, and pre-launch.
  • Understand the customers and their needs to inform assortment and merchandising decisions.
  • Utilize data to analyze and hindsight current performance and optimization opportunities.
  • Work with cross functional stakeholders for asset management, messaging & localization.
  • Collaborate with partners on digital testing/research, analyzing data and sharing best practices.
  • Collaborate with design & CX teams on visual merchandising including design, fixtures, messaging and wayfinding.

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor degree
  • 3+ years of experience in Merchandising
  • Experience analyzing and deriving insights from large data sets
  • Experience in Data Driven storytelling with a balanced lens on consumer trends
  • Experience managing cross-functional relationships
  • Experience prioritizing, balancing & executing competing deliverables

Preferred Qualification

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Leadership experience managing teams/projects
  • Digital & Physical Merchandising experience
