This opportunity is accountable for supporting the Catastrophe Modeling department by reviewing, cleansing, extracting, importing, and compiling basic data analysis and modeling and assisting with department planning and projects to meet department needs and requirements.
Primary Responsibilities

• Perform basic data analysis and modeling; organize and format data into usable reports for Catastrophe Modeling department needs
•Perform basic data integrity checks by retrieving data and following established guidelines to minimize errors and support delivery of accurate information for sound analyses
•Contribute to Catastrophe Modeling analyses improvement initiatives by escalating issues and data errors to ensure department awareness of needed changes
•Conduct basic research and project work to support department needs and requirements
•Meet quality service standards by ensuring accurate and timely delivery of data to contribute to assisting key stakeholders with organizational planning and financial decision-making
•Contribute to a positive work environment by demonstrating cultural expectations and influencing others to reward performance and value "can do" people, accountability, diversity and inclusion, flexibility, continuous improvement, collaboration, creativity and fun

Required Education

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience

• Degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, or Actuarial Science
