The Work

A Principal Penetration Tester would be responsible for delivering advanced level simulated attack and penetration testing engagements as well as managing teams of penetration testers and red teamers. The work will draw from your knowledge of all layers of the technology stack and the vulnerabilities therein.

You will be working on a diverse range of clients from many industry sectors and will gain unique insight into the inner workings of their critical business functions. Additionally, Penetration Testers at this level have the opportunity to advance their careers through development of important consultative, managerial and leadership skills.

Qualifications

REQUIRED
  • Ability to deliver a broad range of penetration testing services, including advanced/expert level proficiency at more than one discipline.
  • Proficiency at reviewing code using manual techniques in more than one programing language.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning, executing and managing Simulated Attack / Red team engagements including techniques described within the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
  • Proficiency in Cloud security including reviewing Cloud configurations and exploiting common Cloud specific security weaknesses.
  • Ability to lead client-facing engagements and manage projects through to completion, dealing with client issues acting as a project lead and as an interface between Accenture and the client.
  • Experience in providing training and/or mentoring to other team members.
  • Ability to take responsibility for improving areas of the methodologies, tools and processes used by Accenture.
  • Carry out research and development work as required, to continue to advance core knowledge areas/develop niche interests and specialisms.
  • Industry specific technical accreditations such as OSCP, OSWE and OSCE.
