Job Description

As a valued leader on our team, you will oversee the work of a unit, or several units, whose staff are designing, producing, testing, or implementing software, technology, or processes across multiple projects, programs, or products, as well as create and maintain IT architecture, large scale data stores, and cloud-based systems.

The Fullstack Senior Manager role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:
  • Be leading the development and support of Fannie Mae's flagship capability and help deliver solutions to mortgage industry.
  • Be leading a large group of employees and consultant staff to provide technical and leadership guidance
  • Be able to influence design and development for the several new features/capabilities using latest AWS and Microservices technologies
  • Determine the needs of large customer groups across multiple projects, programs, or products.
  • Plan and direct the work of the team as they design and develop software solutions to meet needs across simultaneous projects or workstreams.
  • Ensure teams use a process-driven approach in designing solutions.
  • Oversee the implementation of new software technology across multiple projects, programs, or products.
  • Oversee the effective and efficient ongoing maintenance of existing software.




Minimum Required Experiences

  • 6 years

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent

  • Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion
  • Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal
  • Influencing including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict
  • Experience helping an organization to plan and manage change in effort to meet strategic objectives
  • Learning and Training including conducting, developing, and evaluating training, instructional design, and learning management systems
  • Programming including coding, debugging, and using relevant programming languages
  • Relationship Management including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors, building relationship networks, contracting, etc.
  • Skilled in cloud technologies and cloud computing
  • Experience using software and computer systems' architectural principles to integrate enterprise computer applications
  • Product Development including designing products, developing product roadmaps, translating design requirements, prototyping, etc.
  • Collective capabilities for leadership, including leading teams, giving feedback, facilitating meetings, and coaching and mentoring
  • Determining causes of operating errors and taking corrective action
  • Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand
  • Risk Assessment and Management including evaluating and designing controls, conducting impact assessments, identifying control gaps, remediating risk, etc.
  • Operational Excellence including improving and overseeing operations
  • Experience identifying measures, or indicators of system performance, and the actions needed to improve or correct performance to achieve desired outcomes
  • Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions
  • Skilled in establishing and maintaining consistency of a product's performance, functional, and physical attributes with its requirements, design, and operational information
  • Communication including communicating in writing or verbally, copywriting, planning and distributing communication, etc.
