Facebook is seeking a Business Lead to assist with briefing, content preparation, communications, synthesizing data, and project managing select cross-functional work for our VP, People@. This person will manage preparation for internal/external events and meetings, assist with internal communications, and contribute to strategic initiatives across the company, including managing the top priorities for the VP, People@.

Required Skills

  • Work with colleagues across teams to prepare background for meetings with key partners (e.g., identify goals, prepare slides/background material/pre-reads, draft talking points when necessary, provide background on attendees when appropriate)
  • Support coordination and content development for recurring internal Q&As, town halls, leadership meetings, etc.
  • Synthesize background material into executive summaries with key business and communication insights
  • Prepare briefing material for external events
  • Create content and prepare talking points and slide decks for public (internal or external) events/videos
  • Interface and consult regularly with cross-functional groups
  • Accelerate work on emergent priorities as necessary
  • Exercise absolute confidentiality and discretion at all times

Minimum Qualification

  • 5+ years' work experience in strategic consulting, research/analysis, or internal strategy
  • Experience drafting communications
  • Communication skills, including listening, observing and empathizing, as well as extreme clarity in communication
  • Fluency working with data and analytical reports
  • Experience building presentations in PowerPoint and/or Keynote and compiling briefing materials
  • Experience juggling tasks and working extra hours as needed
  • Experience shifting priorities and acting proactively, while maintaining organization and control
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects
  • Proven success in project management and exhibiting judgment in decision-making
  • Proven success working in highly diverse environments and/or experience working on diversity & inclusion issues
  • Proven track record handling highly confidential information

  • Experience working with people at all levels both inside and outside of Facebook
