Job Summary

This opportunity is open to current PSEG employees only.

This is a critical position that reports to the Assistant Treasurer Cash Management that will oversee the cash management staff and be responsible for day-to-day operations of the cash management function. This individual is the company's subject-matter expert on the banking system, platforms, and products. In addition, the Manager Cash Management works closely with the Assistant Treasurer and Principal Cash Management Analyst serving as back-up to ensure coverage in this critical function.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversees staff to develop daily cash position
  • Conducts short-term borrowing / investing activities for PSEG and its subsidiaries
  • Posts collateral to meet needs for PSE&G and ER&T
  • Manages the delivery of banking services for PSE&G customer operations
  • Leads Bank market transactions
  • Manages banking controls and compliance process
  • Oversees cash management services provided to LIPA under the Operating Services Agreement (OSA)


Job Specific Qualifications

Required:
  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance or related degree
  • Minimum (7-12) years of experience in cash management, treasury operations, corporate finance or other finance/accounting function
  • Basic knowledge/qualifications
    • Compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures for a cash management / accounting / finance function
    • Financial / cash forecasting models
    • Financial systems and database management
    • Financial / Accounting reconciliations
    • Strong leadership capabilities
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Ability to build and maintain internal and external partnerships

  • MBA, CPA preferred
  • Financial markets (Commercial Paper and money market funds)
