Job Description

As a valued colleague on our team, you will design and develop routine solutions for information technology (IT) infrastructure environments, including coding, testing, and certifying technology platforms, software, and applications under direct supervision.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
The Network Operations Engineerrole will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:
  • Develop routine solutions for application design and IT infrastructure components under the guidance of more experienced team members.
  • Understand the end-to-end performance of fundamental IT platforms.
  • Draft and maintain policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
  • Gather and report on the performance and capacity metrics for technology solutions.

  • 3-5 years

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Skills
  • Proficiency in operationally supporting one or more of the following technology areas (Cisco Meraki, Wireless, routing/switching and/or SD WAN)
  • Experience in ancillary technologies areas such as Cisco ISE, DNS and Zscaler a plus
  • Strong focus on ensuring a high level of support for end users and services that leverage our network to deliver business value
  • Willingness to learn new technologies as the responsibilities of our team evolves
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in order to solve user issues
  • Adept at incident triage and problem solving to resolve issues with adequate levels of urgency
  • Ability to create and document support processes as well as improve existing processes for efficiency
  • Strong communication skills to allow for clear messaging to both end users as well as business stakeholders
  • Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal
  • Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions
  • On call engagement and after hours support may be required
