Job Description:
Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Technology Strategy Manager in San Francisco, CA to create strategies and plans that define how technology should be used to enable an organization's overall business strategy. S/he will perform the following duties: maintain knowledge of evolving trends in technology strategy and management and applies those to develop innovative approaches to deliver value for our clients; identify the most important client technology issues and maximize business value by conducting rigorous analyses and developing strategic multiyear road maps; conduct research to obtain relevant data and define client needs or problems within specialized areas such as IT and cybersecurity; formulate hypotheses to support client/market positioning and help implement proposed IT, digital, and security solutions; conduct impact analysis of current IT and security operating models (including governance and controls) and digital/technology transformation of IT and security organizations; produce quantitative and qualitative analysis of IT and security capabilities, using analytics tools (Tableau, Alteryx, SQL) and financial modeling, and present case team findings to client management; interact with senior client management across business, IT, and security to assist in establishing and implementing a vision, roadmap and governance to address present business needs and support future growth; identify where clients can leverage IT and security for greatest strategic impact, defining a target IT architecture that supports business requirements, reduces costs, and improves enterprise agility; lead the creation of well-articulated thought leadership assets that present innovative and action-oriented information, insight, knowledge, guidance and recommendations on a specific market-relevant technology strategy topic (e.g., Competitive Agility them; identify/prioritize account-level value creation opportunities at the intersection of business and technology based on assessment activities and an understanding of high- level visions, performance gaps, and needs.
Positions are based in San Francisco, CA but requires domestic and international travel up to 80% of an average work week.
Telecommuting is permitted for this role.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
This position requires at least a bachelor's degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, or in a closely related field, plus 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience as a Management Consultant, Technical Consultant, or related position. This position also requires the following professional experience: 1 year of experience working at a management consulting, audit and advisory, or technical consulting firm; 5 years of experience in at least two (2) of the following competency areas: Digital Strategy, IT Value Strategy, Technology Innovation and Ecosystems, IT Operating Model, Cloud Strategy, Enterprise Architecture Strategy, AI Strategy, IT Assurance, or IT in Mergers and Acquisitions; 3 years of experience supporting the design of business and solution architectures aligned to strategic and financial objectives; 3 years of experience writing business cases (quantitative and qualitative) to support strategic business initiatives, process improvement initiatives, or IT transformation; and 2 years of experience leading or managing small teams including planning/structuring analytical work, facilitating team workshops, and developing technology strategy recommendations.
