Our Santa Clara, CA location currently has an opportunity for a Global Product Manager-Hematology, This role supports the development and management of a successful, sustainable franchise, ensuring delivery of exceptional customer value and business targets. Acts as a subject matter expert on our products/solutions, and manages the product area day-to-day, in line with the global marketing plan and in collaboration with area teams. Proactively identifies new opportunities to grow and differentiate the franchise and collaborates across the organization to effectively develop and launch new products and solutions on-time and on-budget.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Focal point for the Division with regards to product line and market knowledge.
  • In collaboration with key stakeholders in other business units, provides direction on user needs and product requirements based on insights generated from market research, customer input, internal stakeholder feedback and other means to ensure profitable and differentiated products are delivered to market.
  • Responsible for creating business cases that support investment and prioritization decisions for the product portfolio.
  • Provides leadership and direction to R&D and support organizations throughout development cycle (e.g., trade-off analysis across customer, financial and timeline impacts).
  • Develops and executes go-to-market strategy for new products including definition of and segmentation of the market, targeting and positioning, and all aspects of the marketing mix (product/key claims, price, promotion, and sales enablement).
  • Ensures launch and post-launch success by providing support to global commercial organizations and on-market teams throughout the early product life-cycle.
  • Participates in strategic planning initiatives such as portfolio management process and long range strategic planning to ensure profitable growth opportunities are supported.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, life sciences, engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Diagnostics or Healthcare Experience
  • 4 years marketing experience.


Preferred Requirements:
  • Prior experience working within the diagnostics field.
  • Prior experience specifically in Hematology, or with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) or Hematology Middleware would be a plus.
  • The position requires an understanding of both the technology and capabilities of ADD's hematology portfolio, including automation and informatic products and how they impact Hematology laboratories.
  • Product development and launch experience, including go-to-market planning in a highly competitive medical device or IVD market.
  • Strong team player who can incorporate collaborate effectively with others and can generate consensus through inclusion. Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills for a wide variety of audiences.
  • Strong critical thinker and sound decision-making capabilities with the ability to learn and quickly master new topics areas and take insights to actions.
  • This position requires driving and travelling to visit customers and attend business meetings.
