POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an Engineering/Technical Recruiter to support our growing organizations in our Transportation, Industrial and Environmental market sectors. If you have engineering recruitment expertise, excel at finding exceptional talent, and know how to close deals, we are interested in you!

Our experts in engineering and project management deliver solutions to our clients in the following areas: Roadway design, Bridge design, tunnel design, Rail/Transit Systems design, Water/Wastewater design, Smart Mobility/ITS design, Aviation, Horizontal Construction, and Industrial design for facilities in Mining, Oil/Gas, Utilities, Pharmaceutical, Education, Manufacturing, and government structures.

Our environment is very fast paced, and we expect our recruiters to manage 20+ requisitions at a time and drive the full life cycle of recruitment from requisition development to offer development (including any relocation, bonuses, etc.) and through onboarding.

This is an opportunity to recruit and hire for various teams across the United States and Canada, and work with market leaders and subject matter experts in engineering, project management, and science fields, to name a few. You will be expected to work across various time zones and support all of North America. In this role, you will work with a consultative approach, with geographically dispersed hiring managers and teams, develop sourcing strategies, source and screen candidates, and process candidates through the interview, offer, hiring and on-boarding processes. You will be expected to perform compensation analysis, and assist hiring managers with relocation agreements and immigration processes, as well as provide guidance to new Managers on our Workday system and hiring processes. We expect you to draw upon your recruiting expertise, and your knowledge of the technical recruitment markets to deliver top notch candidates to our Hiring Managers. We offer a flexible work arrangement, either completely remote, or from one of our offices. A conversion to full time is an option for the right candidate.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Carry a full-cycle requisition load
  • Train managers and new recruiters in Workday
  • Assist the Recruiting Director with helping managers pull social media campaigns together as well as Linked-In messaging, and other Social Media recruiting activities
  • Research new places to post jobs
  • Gather data to improve job description lead in paragraphs and load those into workday
  • Other ancillary projects as assigned by the Recruiting Director

REQUIREMENTS:
  • 5+ years of demonstrated full life cycle technical recruiting experience as a Corporate, In-house recruiter, in Engineering, is required.
  • Must have experience recruiting multi-disciplined Engineers, Scientists, Project Managers, and Construction professionals at all levels in one or more of the following is required: Roadway design, Bridge design, Rail/Transit Systems, Aviation, Water/Wastewater, Smart Mobility, Environmental, or industrial Design. Candidates that have worked in more than one of these markets is preferred.
  • Workday experience is required.
  • Strong sourcing background and skills with various recruiting media, particularly LinkedIn, and Boolean searching. AI recruiting experience is highly desired.
  • 4-year Degree in Business Administration or related field is required, MBA preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills in pivot tables, macros, graphs, and formulas.

COMPETENCIES:
  • Must have a "consultative" approach with hiring managers with the ability to provide alternative sourcing solutions and move candidates to "yes" to close deals.
  • Strong understanding of ATS systems.
  • Recruitment marketing skills.
