Job Description

As a valued colleague on our Corporate Procurement team, you will contribute to planning, initiating, and managing projects to support the goals of the Contractor Resource Center. You will identify action steps and their owners and coordinate the efforts to achieve results within planned timelines, as well as monitor and report on progress against targets and make adjustments as needed. In addition, you will be a team player and support a diverse set of objectives that the Procurement Operations team completes such as processing purchase requisitions and purchase orders, supporting customer inquiries, providing end client letters, posting labor condition applications and backing up supplier communications.

  • Refine goals, guidelines, action steps, and timelines for projects as needed.


Qualifications

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Minimum Required Experiences

  • 2 years related procurement or purchasing experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to learn and apply complex concepts related to procurement practices and procedures and the administration of contingent workers.
  • Experience in documenting processes, procedures and/or standard work. Possesses a continuous improvement mindset in operational efficiency.
  • Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail in the delivery of work product.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with people with different functional expertise respectfully and collaboratively towards a common goal. Ability to develop, build and manage effective relationships with stakeholders, internal customers, and vendors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Can gather information to explain concepts and answer critical questions. Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is easy to understand.
  • Skilled in Excel.

Desired Experiences
  • Knowledge of the administration and operational oversight of contractors and consultants.
  • Experience in the process of analyzing data to identify trends or relationships to inform conclusions about the data.
  • Prior experience procuring basic goods and services and obtaining quotes. Knowledge of accounts payable and the financial and accounting impact of the procure-to-pay process.
  • Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion.
  • Experience using procurement software, particularly Ivalua, is a plus.
  • Experience using resource management software such as SAP Fieldglass is a plus.
  • Experience using collaborative team tools such as SharePoint, Confluence, Microsoft Teams.
