The Defence Finance Business Partner plays a vital role in guiding the team through key financial decisions related to our T56 and Naval Aftermarket Businesses. This role covers all US T56 Aftermarket Programs plus all Naval Aftermarket Programs based in locations across the world (Walpole, Indianapolis, Bristol and Australia). This role supports the development and achievement of their strategic plans and growth

Key Accountabilities :
  • Provide a Finance Business Partner service to the T56 and Naval Aftermarket Program, Sales & Commercial team from inception of opportunities to endorsing business evaluations
  • Direct the Program to ensure the financial implications of all events, transactions and decisions, taken or proposed, are fully considered and acted upon
  • Lead and support Program Directors in developing and maintaining their Strategic plan, Annual target setting (ATS), and In-year forecast (IYF)
  • Support the development and maintenance of long term project and contract profit plans as appropriate
  • Support and advise staff in the development of ATS, IYF and AP'ly opportunities/hazards
  • Provide finance support for other initiatives within the services team as required

Basic Qualifications :
  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management and 5+ years of financial experience; OR
  • Master Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Management and 3+ years of financial experience; OR
  • JD/PHD in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred Qualifications :
  • CPA and or MBA preferred
  • Familiarity with SAP
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and people management skills
  • Familiarity with business evaluation processes, ATS processes, strong leadership, interpersonal and business partner skills.
