Supplier Quality Engineer

To develop repair process definitions and repair sources by optimizing concepts and solutions within agreed engineering and business constraints. Enhance the competitive and commercial performance of Rolls-Royce and its customers and where relevent, its Suppliers, across the product life cycle.

Key Accountabilities :
  • Analysing data and information on allocated suppliers performance to identify improvement opportunities
  • Implementing improvement projects to satisfy Level 2 problems as part of improving the performance of a business process
  • Training and coaching suppliers to improve aspects of their business performance
  • Identifying and taking appropriate action when suppliers do not meet SABRe requirements
  • Developing supplier capability to meet current and future requirements
  • Working to support the Zero Defects initiative, driving completion of Supplier Maturity Assessments and driving the implementation of improvement projects at identified suppliers

Basic Qualifications :
  • An Associates degree with 4+ years of experience within quality roles in the aerospace industry OR;
  • A Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience within quality roles in the aerospace industry OR;
  • A Masters degree withexperience within quality roles in the aerospace industry OR;
  • A JD/PhD with experience within quality roles in the aerospace industry
  • In lieu of a degree 6years of experience within quality roles in the aerospace industry
  • In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be a US citizen

Preferred Qualifications :
  • Experience with Rolls-Royce Material Review Board Webb App, Teamcenter, SAP and 8D problem solving Pioneer an enduring legacy
