Principal Academic Affairs/Personnel Analyst

Responsibilities
The HR Academic Personnel Office for Pathology & Laboratory Medicine is seeking to hire a Principal Academics Affairs/Personnel Analyst. In this role, you will manage the entire academic personnel review process and other academic personnel matters. Major responsibilities includes:

*Coordinate processes for all faculty academic actions including faculty recruitment, merit reviews, promotion and dossier compilation
*Liaise with CRU, UCPath and Dean's Office Academic Affairs
*Manage faculty leaves and vacation accruals
*Implement and interpret complex academic personnel policy, and advise faculty about dossier review requirements

Qualifications
*Academic Personnel Certificate Training on Academic appointments/dossier preparation is highly desirable
*Graduate degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or related business degree and/or 5 years' experience in Academic personnel-payroll analysis strongly preferred
*Demonstrated knowledge of UCPATH, ADB, UC Recruit, OPUS, INTERFOLIO and other University personnel and finance programs is a bonus
*Skill in resolving complex personnel issues involving interpretation and application of established policies and procedures (e.g. Academic Personnel Manual, The CALL and Departmental Voting By-Laws)
*Exceptional skill in writing and editing correspondence, memos, and reports
