Leads and executes various departmental-scope operational focus projects with cross-functional workgroup impact. Collaborates with other members of the leadership and front-line teams to maximize efforts and achieve better project outcomes. Vets prospective projects with Operations to ensure correct prioritization of time and efforts. Conducts formal and informal communication of team’s recommendations, needs, barriers etc. Acts as an advocate and communications expert from a larger Operations perspective on operational strategies and tactics. Has decision-making accountability for shaping new and or enhanced work processes.

Identifies areas of unmet need for PS Operations and is key and responsible interface for Project Management Organization. This individual will develop requirements for tools, prioritization assessment, and define resourcing requirements. Analyzes business processes and procedures for service optimization and efficiency. Builds communication strategies, provides direct facilitation, implements and maintains policies and procedures. Facilitates discussions amongst leadership on highly significant matters relating to departmental issues, programs, strategies and goals. Investigates and analyze ad-hoc operational data questions/issues. Supports Directors with appropriate insight, conclusions, and next steps identified. Liaises with PS Extended Leadership Team members to ensure their activities are aligned with Manager’s priorities.

Accountable for development, implementation and management /implementation of metrics to appropriate assess agent performance (Performance & Behaviors as related to the Biogen Elements) across each operational function.

Accountable for development and implementation of technical solutions that captures performance metrics that are consistent with organizations objectives and goals. Works cross functionally with Legal and HR to design, develop and maintain large scale department policies and procedures that significantly impact the future course of PS.

• Proven presentation skills and analytical skills are required
• Ability to proactively manage issues and make operational decisions in a real-time manner is required
• Prior related industry experience is highly preferred
• Experience using MS OneNote, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Office 360, and Tableau is required
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to 'influence without authority'and lead diverse project teams
• Will often be called on as prime decision-making resource when questions arise within Project Core Teams about strategy with respect to Operations cross-functional workgroups.
• Must be comfortable working in gray areas that arise in the course of project management or ever-changing business needs.
• Good decision-making and judgment skills required when determining what actions are appropriate to take immediately and when to seek agreement with the larger Operations Manager team, senior leadership, and/or other stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills required to ensure problems are effectively identified and the most appropriate solutions are pursued in an ideal manner.

Biogen’s US Alzheimer’s Franchise is looking to recruit proven and ambitious sales achievers with at least five years of experience in pharma, specialty, hospital, med device/capital equipment, and/or biotech sales.
In this field-based, specialty sales representative position you will be called upon to sell our products with key stakeholders in the Alzheimer’s Disease community: including Neurologists and allied health professionals.
