Voluntary Benefits Process Management Analyst (Remote)

The Voluntary Benefits Process Management Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Voluntary Benefits Delivery Capability team for all voluntary products offered. This individual will partner closely with our vendor partner and internal stakeholders to assist in the onboarding, customer administration, billing, commissions, and claims of voluntary products. The Voluntary Benefits Process Management Analyst will also work on projects, analysis, support system testing and may lead projects related to supporting the process.

This role has the ability to sit in any of our offices or can be completely virtual.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the Delivery Capability team including but not limited to onboarding, billing, customer administration, commissions, claims and policyholder services
  • Responsible for project reporting including system testing, meeting scheduling and meeting minutes
  • Identify opportunities to enhance delivery capability for product management
  • Support the documentation of standard operating procedures are and ensure they are updated and reviewed regularly with the vendor and Prudential
  • Serve as bridge between vendor and the Delivery Capability team along with other internal stakeholders (e.g., Risk, Legal, Compliance)
  • Provide support to both Product and Distribution teams, as needed
  • Monitor vendor metrics, cycle times, productivity and quality
  • Provide needed data (create, run, and distribute) to key business and management
  • Support the review and response of RFP questions
  • Provide support training voluntary benefits platform and answering basic process and functionality questions
  • Manage Voluntary Benefits inquiry intake through shared email inbox.
  • Engage in diagnosing, resolving, track and trend any issues or escalations related to the vendor, process, or customer Responsible for reporting emerging and escalating issues, identified through different means of communication, to ensure contractual agreements are met within the specified timeframe to meet all Prudential standards.
  • Provide support for completing internal and external vendor audits and control testing


Qualifications:
  • 3 years of product, project, benefits administration or voluntary benefit experience
  • Experience with Voluntary Products (Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity or Accident), with a background in Voluntary Product administration preferred
  • Detailed, organized and results- oriented project management or other related experience such as underwriting, marketing, pricing, commissions, claims, customer service etc. is preferred
  • Experience building internal relationships and working across a highly-matrixed organization
  • Experience analyzing large data sets and interrelated metrics from disparate sources, that enable strategic decision making
  • Established ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization, with strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
  • Ability to make decisions in an ambiguous / fast-paced environment, communicate rationale and adjust mid-course
  • A customer-centric focus keeping customers in forefront of decisions, connecting plans and actions to purpose of serving clients
  • Ability to thrive in a complex, dynamic environment and prioritize accordingly
  • Vendor management experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Salary range specific to Colorado: $74,100 - $100,00 discretionary incentive bonus + benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
