Our team provides the software products for the C4ISR Systems Business Area in BAE Systems specializing in complex solutions for our Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Maritime, and Space Customers.

We are seeking an engaged software leader who is passionate about the craft of software engineering, has a desire to mentor our engineers, and who can partner with other members of the engineering leadership team to attract and retain talented engineers.

In your role, you will lead the development of a wing-level reprogramming station. We are looking for an engineer that can architect a new planning software system to support the F-35, F-15, and other classified platforms. The system will integrate new electronic attack (EA) and electronic surveillance measures (ESM). The system will integrate innovative solutions from the Cognitive electronic warfare (EW) initiative with our legacy systems. The system will be multi-role context sensitive to allow rapid reprogramming by pilots, comprehensive reprogramming by labs, and technical diagnostics and testing support for EW sensor integrators.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field plus a minimum of 10 years experience working in the defense industry.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field plus 10 years developing software for complex embedded EW systems, integrating EW systems, and qualification testing.
