Part-Time Brand Ambassador - Hershey's Chocolate World

Job Location: Hershey, PA

Hourly Pay Rate: $15.50 or more based on experience

Minimum Age: 18 years of age or older

Availability: Must be available to work daytime, evenings, weekends, and holidays

This is a part-time position located in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The company will not provide relocation assistance or other employment benefits for this position.

Brand Ambassadors will support the Hershey's Chocolate World Experiential Innovation team. The role includes consumer activations, programs, and events while working cross-functionally with our operations team and adapting to traffic flow to ensure smooth execution. Activations will support an overall platform of experiences and events. Brand Ambassadors must deliver a quality and engaging guest experience. This job will involve training, setup, tear down, full hands-on execution, engaging and hosting guests while encouraging them to participate or purchase, coordination with other areas, communication, short-term problem solving, and having a positive attitude.

This position is for someone with a "Can-Do" and "No Job is Too Small for Me" attitude . The brand ambassador role will provide you with the opportunity to deliver new and immersive experiences to our guests. A motivated, energetic, detail-oriented, creative, and organized individual will thrive in this role.

Major Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a Brand Ambassador for seasonal and marketing-driven experiences and events
  • Work as a team to facilitate events and experience execution from start to finish
  • Encourage consumers to take part in event/activation
  • Perform setup, tear down, execution, and selling events experience while observing consumer reactions and reporting informal feedback
  • Cross-functionally working alongside members of the retail, attraction, foods, facilities, and marketing teams
  • Comfortably speak to individuals or groups of people at a time
  • Develop short-term solutions to operational challenges that arise or involve a manager or lead when needed
  • Must be able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Follow strict policies on safety and food-handling procedures


Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities:
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organization skills are essential as well as the ability to multi-task
  • Able to work in a diverse and versatile atmosphere
  • Must be comfortable with public speaking
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to transact sales on a point-of-sale system
  • Initiate guest interaction and engagement
  • Start with a Smile and end with a Thank You
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work
  • Required to wear uniform or event themed outfit/accessories
  • Ability to stand 4-6 hours at a time and occasionally up to 8 hours
  • Ability to lift, push, and/or pull 50 lbs.
  • Written and conversational knowledge of the English language and grammar
  • Ability to read and follow directions, rules, guidelines, training, and procedure manuals


Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is required
  • Experience: Customer service experience, communication, and marketing events experience is preferred but not required
