Manager, Application Development

Job Description
Caremark LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Richardson, TX: Manager, Application Development. The manager application development will manage the labor and deliverables of team members within the rxclaim adjudication team. This is a critical position that requires sophisticated technical skills and proven leadership experience. The manager - application development will supervise teams of professional-level employees and consultants on advanced technical solutions. The manager - application development will need to evaluate annual goals for his team members, discuss and support their career goals and prepare and provide input into their performance appraisals. The manager - application development will actively participate in recruitment process, including interviewing, provide weekly project status updates to senior-level management and serve as the principal communications link between team members and senior management. The manager application development will be responsible for defining solutions to complex technical problems related to the rxclaim adjudication functionality. Will be responsible for driving out project requirements and overseeing the delivery of solutions taking into consideration their financial impact and specific business needs and for forecasting project/ work costs. Within projects will develop project plans, prioritize requirements and distribute work assignments. Will follow up on progress-to-date and run project/ work to completion reports. will be responsible for ensuring appropriate resource coverage to support business needs and will need to resolve any technical or personal issues as they arise and time frame allocated for each component and make move forward recommendations. Will also lead as400 and synon/rpg technology solutions from the requirements stage through design and implementations.

Required Qualifications
PLUS TWO (2) YEARS OF LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH RPG AND SYNON WITHIN IBM SYSTEMS/SOFTWARE SUCH AS AS400. MUST ALSO HAVE TWO (2) YEARS OF PROJECT EXPERIENCE IN CL/400. WILL ACCEPT A BACHELORS DEGREE AND FIVE YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN LIEU OF A MASTERS DEGREE AND TWO YEARS OF EXPERIENCE.

MINIMUM OF A MASTERS DEGREE OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT IN COMPUTER SCIENCE, ENGINEERING OR RELATED TECHNICAL FIELD
