Our team is looking for Administrative Assistants who will support a United States Space Force organization to support the standup/operations of a cyberspace defense unit and help to define the transformation of Cyberspace Operations in the USSF. This organization requires contract support in the form of administrative-level support to all unit programs (i.e., business rules, collaboration, taskings, etc.).

Job Duties
  • Supports the preparation of reports & related correspondence in accordance w/ USAF/USSF regulations
  • Organizes conferences & events (remote or on-site/in-person)
  • Analyzes special projects and action times to provide administrative support to staff
  • Supports and reviews materials submitted for projects is related and procedures are met
  • Assists in the creation of new administrative policies and procedures for the unit
  • Participates in special studies and projects relating to planning, coordinating, and analyzing the effectiveness/efficiency of the unit
  • Collaboration:
    • Supports the unit's knowledge management requirements by posting, editing and sharing documentation on Sharepoint
    • Researches office automation tools, reads vendor manuals and applies techniques to developing new approaches pertaining to administrative practices and clerical procedures for processing and routing of correspondence
  • Manpower/Personnel:
    • Administratively supports the unit recognition program
    • Tracks inbound/outbound of Command personnel
    • Assists in managing the sponsor program
    • Aids in travel orders for assigned personnel
    • Supports the Health Programs Monitor - Schedules unit personnel's annual dental appointments
    • Monitors and maintains Unit/Deployment Manning Documents (UMD/DMDs)
      • Maintains manpower documents
      • Coordinates UMD changes such as functional account codes, Air Force Specialty Codes etc.
      • Reconciles Unit Manning Documents with position control roster and identifies mismatches
    • Manages calendars, meetings, read ahead material; attendees for assigned leaders
  • Supports other assigned duties as required

Required Skills
  • Bachelor's degree and minimum 3 years of professional experience with at least 1 year of experience in an administrative assistant role

The anticipated annualized full time target compensation (median) for this position is: $68,000.00.Benefits for this position include: medical, dental, vision, paid time off and 401K.
