Director, US Market Commercial Master Data Strategy & Integration Leader

Job Description

The leader is responsible for ensuring that the US market has an industry-leading modern data management and operations approach to storing and provisioning commercial data assets and insights to inform business-critical decisions & actions in a timely fashion. The leader will support our Company's US commercial portfolio and be responsible for the strategic management and budget of all US Market data purchases.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Overall responsibility for creating, owning & implementing the US market's strategy & operations for commercial and digital engagement data assets
  • Responsible for master data management (customer, performance, product, and promotion masters) including evolving and maintaining current and future mastering to meet the expanding needs of the US market.
  • Responsible for the US market's data stewardship approach, including transitions to RPA.
  • Works with the governance team to ensure proper processes are in place in alignment with applicable data privacy and compliance policies.
  • In close collaboration with IT, responsible for the ongoing maintenance, operation, and evolution of our Company's US Divisional Data Warehouse (US Data Hub - HCP & HCC).
  • Actively manage all the US commercial market's data, including all 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party data assets, spanning HCP, consumer, payer, patient, account, etc.
  • Works in close collaboration with the business, analytics and IT teams to ensure appropriate implementation of identified strategies

  • Proven ability to create and lead high-performing data management and operations teams. The leader must have a demonstrated ability to attract, retain, and develop high-performing data & analytic talent.
  • Proven ability to work in close collaboration and lead initiatives involving a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, including IT, Analytics, Business, Compliance & outside Vendors, and Partners.
  • Strong understanding and working knowledge of data systems, platforms, flows, integrations, and processes required to effectively master and provision divisional data assets.
  • Strong business acumen with a keen ability to understand how data (HCP, consumer, payer, patient, account, etc.) can be leveraged to inform critical commercial decisions
  • Strong working knowledge of critical steps involved in the "analytic to business action" process, including data strategy, acquisition, management, insights generation & insights delivery.
  • Deep business acumen necessary to understand business stakeholder needs (marketing, sales, account management, operations, etc..)
  • Intellectual curiosity and ability to identify innovative approaches to addressing data needs
  • Excellent presentation, analytics, and communication skills, both written and oral, are required to synthesize key issues and communicate/persuade constituencies towards specific actions and initiatives

Required Experience & Education
  • BA / BS in Quantitative Business Analytics, Quantitative Sciences, Mgmt Information Systems, Engineering or Operations Research; MS/MBA Preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in US commercial operations or analytics space leveraging data to inform critical business choices
  • Prior experience leading multiple teams in a large corporate environment
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Possess strong organization capabilities and exceptional communication skills
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in Project or Program Management
  • Knowledge of or experience in the Master Data management field
