Daikin Industries is seeking a professional, skilled individual for our Strategic Sales Analytics Manager position. The Strategic Sales Analytics Manager is uniquely positioned to leverage our tools, systems, and data to support the sales organization with analytics and business insight to ensure we are operating at full potential. Success in this role means assisting the sales leaders to drive the continued success of Daikin by designing innovative go-to-market solutions and supporting our business growth strategy. The role is the focal point in the business for developing, analyzing, and communicating channel, forecast, business results metrics, analytics and expanding new and upcoming data science methodologies to provide strategic market insights that enable effective, data driven decision-making. Working with Sales Leaders, Business Units, Marketing, Finance and Planning functions across the regions, the Strategic Sales Analytics Manager will be involved in key projects and deliverables such as yearly business planning, forecasting, pipeline analysis, go-to-market strategy and execution, and addressable market analysis. Strategy development and deployment :
  • Partner with all levels of Sales, Marketing and Finance teams, as well as customer to gather, analyze, prepare, and present data-based recommendations and solutions regarding all aspects of the business, including sales results, business plans, trended future requirements, profitability improvement, strategies, etc.
  • Derive recommendations and craft action plans to address weaknesses and areas of strategic opportunity
  • Present recommendations to senior management for strategic decision making, operational change and investment
  • Execute key recommendations in collaboration with other functions and /or stakeholders
  • Support and optimize the go to market strategy including core sales processes and productivity drivers, infrastructure and automation, and regional performance. Ensure that the defined go to market strategy is fully adopted by all field sales teams.
  • Through detailed evaluation support strategy development and execution planning.

Data mining and analysis :
  • Utilize a variety of predictive analytic techniques to create understanding out of current and historical data.
  • Collect, merge, and validate data for use in setting field sales goals and optimizing territory alignment. Lead territory alignment and quota setting processes for the field and internal sales teams.
  • Oversee year-end and pipeline coverage modelling, sales pipeline by monitoring deal-flow across stages and conduct performance reporting, and sales team productivity by tracking critical KPIs including close rate, pipeline growth, upsell, cross-sell, churn rate, etc.
  • Provide insight to Sales, Marketing, and Finance personnel on market and organization trends that will support brand performance.
  • Evaluate front-end and back-end promotions and analyze customer purchasing patterns.
  • Collaborate with all internal teams to identify opportunities for greater efficiency and workflow improvement / automation.
  • Prepare data summaries necessary to present data for review by the Sales Management, Senior Management, and other requesting departments. This includes but is not limited to new and existing salesforce dashboards, Tableau Visualizations, business scorecards, and compilations of the same for presentations.
  • Pro-actively identify, develop, and communicate sales operations metric improvements.

Business Intelligence systems :
  • Champion and support adoption of BI tools across organization. Monitor usage statistics for BI tools, working with customers to provide input on future enhancements. Provide data validation and testing for upgrades; provide ad hoc training to end user.
  • Leverage and coordinate use of in-house and customer provided Sales and Marketing databases.
  • Create user documentation, instructions and procedures and conduct training related to those procedures.
  • Support the design, development, and implementation of new and enhanced reporting requests by facilitating meetings to analyze and document user requirements as related to enterprise reporting.
  • Lead iterative solution design and prototyping efforts for the business based on their knowledge of the tools and the data.
  • Lead solution testing efforts by developing test plans, preparing test data and environments, coordinating the test execution, and validating test results.
  • Validate CRM and order data on a regular basis and performs reconciliations as required.
  • Super user of CRM platform and sales forecast tools, ensure the platforms run smoothly.


  • Bachelors' degree in business, finance or related field required, Masters' (MA / MS/ MBA) preferred
  • 5 - 7 years of experience in sales, marketing, financial analytics, or sales operations required.
  • 5- 7 years of experiences analyzing and interpreting large sets of data and drawing conclusions to make recommendations required.
  • Extensive experience with CRM platforms, Tableau, and other BI reporting and analytics tools
  • HVAC Channel Experience preferred
  • Business Intelligence tools subject matter expert including CRM platforms and Tableau.
  • Microsoft Office Suite - Power Point, Excel, Word, Project expert
  • Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication including presentation skills
  • Highly organized and excellent time management skills
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusion with limited direction.
  • Highly analytical and technically savvy
