Lead Yield Manager - FreeWheel Marketplace

Job Summary
The Lead Yield Manager - FreeWheel Marketplace - is a new role and will be a vital component for FreeWheel's Marketplace business in the Americas, which enables the most premium video inventory owners and buyers - such as TV Programmers, MVPDs, major digital media publishers, advertisers, agencies, and DSPs - to drive successful business outcomes at scale. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally to oversee and ensure the overall health of the marketplace business, including as relevant: packaging, planning, execution, monitoring, troubleshooting and optimization of digital advertising campaigns to drive marketplace activity, as well as monitor and ensure client and partner performance while meeting internal revenue goals. The successful candidate will require excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to think strategically while being analytical and detail oriented. Candidates should have a solid understanding of the digital media ecosystem with direct experience in programmatic advertising and optimization highly desired. The role is preferably located in New York City but for the right candidate, the role can be based outside of New York.
Job Description
  • Manage the packaging, pricing, and data enablement of transaction models across the FreeWheel US Marketplace offerings, with a keen understanding and focus on meeting the requirements of our clients and partners.
  • Ongoing monitoring, analysis, optimization, and assurance of the liquidity and health of the marketplace, leveraging data to inform future developments.
  • Forecasting, monitoring, optimizing, and troubleshooting supply and demand volume
  • Monitor client and partner performance to implement strategies to ensure achievement of internal and client KPIs
  • Analyze delivery and inventory utilization trends to make recommendations on how to best maximize yield and liquidity.


About You
  • 3+ years related experience in the digital media Yield Management/ optimization space. Programmatic experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of digital video advertising technologies and the overall advertising ecosystem
  • Demonstrated successful relationship building skills with sales and operations teams
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and presentation skills
  • Fluency with Excel and BI tools (Looker a plus)
  • Experience working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter and independently motivated
  • Experience with FreeWheel's MRM or Beeswax technology a plus
  • Bachelor's degree
