This position is responsible for designing and implementing critical customer facing solutions that are highly usable, scalable, extensible, and maintainable on the Force.com platform.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within United States as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Working in JavaScript, CSS and the established frameworks specifically jQuery, React and Bootstrap
  • Effectively collaborate with project team to understand the requirements, analyze them and apply new technologies to implement optimal solutions
  • Understand Force.com capabilities, governor limits, limit monitoring and best practices for limit-informed development
  • Understand Object Oriented coding standards, Design Patterns, and similar best practices
  • Understanding of UX and UI design principles to design and build efficient and intuitive user interfaces.
  • Understand the principals of building managed packages for AppExchange and be familiar with the security requirements and guidelines
  • Follow modern Dev-Ops process using Git and Continuous Integration tools
  • Participate in peer design and code reviews as part of the Dev-Ops process
  • Stay current on Salesforce releases and certified at least as Platform Developer I
  • Working experience in an Agile environment involving sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint demos and retrospectives

Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience with Java or C# and relational databases such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, MYSQL or PostgreSQL
  • Hands-on and in-depth expertise in configuration and custom development in Salesforce Lightning, Health Cloud, Service Cloud, Force.com and/or Lightning Communities
  • If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. When in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are required to wear a mask in common areas. In addition, employees must comply with any state and local masking orders

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's in Computer Sciences
  • Experience with JavaScript, CSS and the established frameworks specifically jQuery, React and Bootstrap
  • Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages and Lightning Components
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning security and performance features
  • Familiarity with Apex REST and SOAP Web Services, Apex Callouts, Outbound Messaging and JavaScript Remoting
  • Familiarity with Force.com Workflows, Lightning Flows, and Process Builder
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Shield technologies including Event Monitoring, Field Audit Trail, Transaction Security and Platform Encryption, Event messaging, Streaming API and Platform Events

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $79,700 to $142,600. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
