Contracts Representative (Part-Time/ Flexible Schedule)

Job Description:

The Defense Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Part-Time Contracts Representative to work in a customer facility in Arlington, VA. This program requires a seasoned, mature professional with prior experience working in government contracts and in handling sensitive information. Primary duties include providing compliance oversight and day-to-day management of active contracts. This person can work a flexible schedule of 24 total hours worked in any combination of days during the work week, Mon-Fri but since it is a secure space, this person needs to have the ability to work during regular daytime business hours to get access.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Responsible for government contract administration and oversight.
  • Responsible for the contract compliance of assigned tasks in accordance with contract requirements, procedures, and applicable laws.
  • Multi-task and prioritized work activities in a fast paced environment and effectively communicate at all levels within the organization.
  • Identify and mitigate contract risks as well as coordinate appropriate reviews in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Must have strong analytical, business process analysis, and problem solving capabilities.
  • Provide briefings to senior level managers quickly and thoroughly with minimal preparation and be able to react to a highly fluid environment.


Basic Qualifications
  • Must have a TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Typically requires a BA degree and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of and/or experience with Special Operations Command is a plus.
