Summary

The Global Director, Marketing Analytics, GBM will be responsible for conducting and overseeing a system of data, analytics, modeling, programming, visualization and experimentation at the center of all decisions within Global Business Marketing (GBM) at Facebook. They will develop and execute world-class solutions to measure, inform and enable Facebook's business marketing activities. This role will lead teams specifically focused on creating actionable insights to improve the strategy and tactics of the marketing organization to drive revenue. In addition, this role will help develop and drive new ideas and innovative approaches to analytics that can be shared cross-functionally and across FB. This role will lead the organization along a continued analytics journey, ever evolving and transforming, in a fast paced, customer centric and global environment.

Required Skills

  • Develop, evolve, and drive the strategy and multi-year roadmap for measurement of marketing efficacy and effectiveness, including org wide KPI's
  • Leads a team that implements the aforementioned roadmap and oversees business all global marketing analytics and measurement activities
  • Leads a team that delivers high quality and detailed data visualizations and management, statistical and quantitative analysis and modeling, experimental design, machine learning, metrics dashboards and insightful/actionable analysis in a business context
  • Conduct analysis of a wide variety of marketing activations and measures the effectiveness, while providing actionable insights on how to improve/uplevel activations going forward
  • Partner with internal and external leaders to create best-in-class measurement systems and actionable insights
  • Create vendor relationships to enhance capabilities better served through third parties
  • Hire, manage, retain, and develop a strong, centralized team to execute the analytics and measurement strategy
  • Identify and prioritizing key investments for analytics, insights, tech and data management
  • Drive the development of analytical tools, technology, and data acquisition (internal and third party)
  • Build and maintain a robust data governance and integrity plan, including critical considerations for business continuity
  • Presents analyses and recommendations to leaders in various functions, as well as to Marketing colleagues
  • Collaborates and ideates to shape business and marketing plans as needed
  • Evaluates new and alternate approaches, models and tools, working closely with cross-functional colleagues
  • Improve and refine KPIs to drive relevance in performance measures


Minimum Qualification

  • 15+ years experience in leadership of analytics and measurement teams
  • BA, MS, or PhD of Statistics in a technical field such as Mathematics, Applied Analytics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Applied Science or Engineering
  • Knowledge of building predictive models (R, Python, SAS, SPSS), experimental design and managing data and metrics ecosystems
  • Proven builder of collaborative relationships and skilled influencer across cross functional stakeholders
  • Skilled at white space, creating and iterating when nothing existed prior
  • Experience operating in a matrixed environment
  • Proven communicator of complex analytical topics in a clear, concise, and simple manner for business stakeholders, including marketing and sales professionals. Experience building partnership with other peers, detailed and effective communications plans and rollouts
  • Skilled in driving positive and efficient organization Change Management
  • Skilled at Stakeholder Influencing and relationship building
  • Inclusive and inspirational team leader. Generates followership and sense of belonging. Experience deftly prioritizing tasks and aligning stakeholder expectations


Preferred Qualification

  • Experience in marketing analytics and research
  • Customer (B2B Preferred) centric with experience balancing both customer benefits and business financials to identify win-win for customers and Facebook
