Summary

The mission of Enterprise Products is to make Facebook the most productive company in the world.

We are looking for a Director of Product Management to lead product management (PM) for the Knowledge and Productivity (KP) teams, within Enterprise Products, which enable the optimal scale, efficiency and quality of KP products/tools for a massive scale of customers and stakeholders. This role will not only help maintain Facebook's core values and commitment to an equitable working environment for all of our employees across the world, but it will also help launch KP into the future of Facebook's "Workplace" as a world-class enterprise product.

The ideal candidate will be passionate and have proven success in building and managing PM teams, including growing product managers into organizational leaders and working closely with a broad range of technical and non-technical cross-functional partners. In this role, you'll invest in the growth of your team by helping set clear expectations and development plans; providing regular, actionable feedback; and coaching or sharing resources/opportunities, as needed, to hold your team accountable to success. You will create strategies for new and large product areas and help guide your team, as well as influence other parts of the company, to leverage existing or emerging data/research to drive effective execution and experimentation frameworks in largely ambiguous spaces.

Required Skills

  • Establish a shared vision across Facebook, securing buy-in from cross-functional teams on prioritization, to ensure the effective and timely launch and execution of both internal products for Facebook employees and enterprise products for external customers.
  • Lead the ideation, technical development and launch of innovative global-scale enterprise products.
  • Drive product development with a global team of 100+ world-class engineers and cross-functional partners, including content strategists, data scientists, product designers and user experience researchers, currently across the US and EMEA.
  • Manage and grow a team of product managers, while expanding existing product work streams.
  • Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product strategies.
  • Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of our products.
  • Coordinate and scale cross-functional efforts for internal and external customers across the world.
  • Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment, where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm.
  • Drive the strategy for a portfolio of products to create a deliberate plan and a cohesive strategy.


Minimum Qualification

  • 8+ years of PM experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a people manager and managing 5+ people.
  • 5+ years of experience hiring and growing teams.


Preferred Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Software development experience as a developer and/or manager.
  • Experience developing knowledge management, productivity, workflow management and automation products.
  • Experience being in a cross-functional leadership team of a 100+ people.
  • Experience working with or in support of diverse communities.
