Incoming/Receiving Inspector - position is within the inspection department for the review and inspection of purchased material. The inspector shall inspect all types of commodities of material that may require some type of incoming inspection to be performed, types to include mechanical fabrication/machined parts, circuit card assemblies, printed wiring boards, and electronic components.

Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship or Permanent Resident.


Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • High School/GED and at least 2 years of experience in similar inspection role
  • Experience with inspecting mechanical and electrical parts and assemblies using common inspection tools which include, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.
  • Ability to review and verify conformance and traceability documentation
  • Ability to interpret and inspect to technical specification and drawings
  • Ability to enter all information into the Quality Management System Database -TIPQA, using a Windows 10 PC


Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Active Secret clearance
  • 3-10 years of experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T)
  • Familiarity with Military and Industry specifications and standards
  • Inspection of Circuit Card Assemblies IPC-A-610
  • Inspection of wiring assemblies per IPC-A-620
