Our location in Alameda, CA currently has an opportunity for a Sr. Product Manager. The Sr. Product Manager is responsible for the development, management and implementation of a membership program that will be consistent with the organization's current needs and lon g -term needs. Will recommend and develop successful membership strategies and tactics to articulate a compelling value proposition to members and prospects. An ideal candidate will have extensive experience creating consumer experiences through a membership or subscription model, and will work cross-functionally (Product, CRM, Digital Marketing, Legal, OEC, Finance, etc.) to identify, structure, and execute MyFreeStyle most strategic deals .

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Own the entire membership consumer experience: join, conversion, and engagement


  • Recommend , develop, and execute membership strategies to drive aggressive membership goals for growth and retention


  • Embrace data analysis and research to understand member needs, segments and journeys; analyzes market trends, identifies new markets.


  • Define the partnership model for the Program (How, where and who)


  • Partner with digital and IT teams to develop the infrastructure needed to integrate the model in the program (Website, app, etc )


  • Work cross-functionally to align key stakeholders , including legal and compliance, customer operations, marketing, sales, product and engineering, and executive leadership


  • Partner with CRM to plan and develop content for specific partnerships


  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to influence roadmap developme nt

  • Conduct formal market research


  • Reports directly to Consumer Marketing Manager


Major responsibilities:

  • Coordinate interdependencies of different workstreams to develop the brand membership proposition


  • Collaborate with Market Research to capture Consumer Insights
  • Assist in developing Creative Campaign and messaging
  • Develop tactical plans and lead team to execute on time and with excellence
  • Anticipate and identify problems and develop solutions using creativity and innovation


  • Manage Consumer Marketing budget ensuring plans are executed within budget
  • Partners with creative and strategic agencies


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING

Required

Bachelor's Degree with at least 4 years' experience, with at least two years' experience in marketing or product management, or MBA with 3 years of related experience.

Experience in Membership based companies is highly preferred.

Preferred

  • 4 + years' experience in Membership management
  • Proven ability to build relationships and navigate complex, external organizations to identify internal champions and to influence decision makers
  • Strong negotiation skills, with an emphasis on driving partner value
  • Excellent contract review and management skills
  • Strong collaborator who can build relationships across the organization


  • Ability to context switch and ramp up quickly on new topics
  • Clear communication, structured thinking, organization and project management skills
  • Experience working with creative and strategic agencies
