Manager Rx Back End LTC

Job Description
Manages and directs the Workflow, Extemp, Pre-Pack, Picking, Staging, Automated Dispensing, Purchasing, Inventory, Returns/Credits, Delivery and Warehouse departments toward their primary objectives, by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate leads or supervisors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure all orders are accurate and delivered on time.
• Control payroll and courier costs.
• Dispense advice, guidance, direction, and authorization to carry out major plans and procedures, consistent with established policies.
• Review operating results of the organization, compare them to established objectives, and take steps to ensure that appropriate measures are taken to correct unsatisfactory results.
• Establish and maintain an effective system of communications throughout the organization.
• Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA.
• Other duties as assigned; Job duties may vary by location.
• Responsible for providing employees with timely, candid and constructive feedback; developing employees to their full potential and providing challenging opportunities that enhance employee career growth; developing the appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning; recognizing and rewarding employees for accomplishments.

Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience in a Lead role in a Pharmacy environment
• Pharmacy Technician License based on the state of California licensing requirements.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications including an intermediate level of familiarity with Excel

Preferred Qualifications
1 year of experience supervising a high-volume LTC pharmacy

Education
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
