Job Description:

Parsons is now hiring an experienced Regional Director (Associate Program Manager) with a desire to work on creating innovative and practical solutions in support of the United States Special Operations Command (USASOC).

Experience and Qualifications:
  • Plans, directs, and coordinates operations of the Germany-based Regional Team allowing for global efficiency, scalability, and 24/7 program management support for the SOFETOPS TO requirements.
  • Supervises Germany-based regional staff supporting SOF operations and TDLs for USSOCOM and USASOC its strategic partners such as SOCEUR and SOCAF.
  • Has full decision-making authority from the PM to supervise and implement immediate TDLs and support other Task 1 PM functions for the assigned Region.
  • Duties include managing Regional daily operations and planning technical and management activities of Regional activities.
  • Uses leadership experience to provide operational, strategic, and management regional oversight to include monitoring requirements, deliverables, and costs.
  • Meets with counterpart Government personnel and the Parson's PM to ensure that contractor labor hours are tracked/accounted for to meet regional needs.
  • Tracks contractor labor hours for the region; contributes to the Program Kick-Off Meeting for regional technical, management, and security issues, and travel authorization and reporting procedures.
  • Tracks and assists the PM in preparing trip reports for region-specific contractor personnel and ensures that quality standards are followed.
  • Contributes to the Transition-In Plan and Transition-Out Plan (if required) for regional transition activities and milestones to ensure effective KT and minimum service disruption and no service degradation.
  • Ensures that security requirements are adhered to and contributes to maintaining the TO management portal to ensure it meets all TO/TDL regional requirements and deliverables.
  • Prepares and updates regional TDPs and TDLs for the region.
  • Provides direction and support for regional TAR, RIP, and CTP requests.
  • Performs various tasks and assignments for the organization's professional staff in such disciplines as Engineering, Software Development, Database Management, Security Threat Analysis.
  • Considered a recognized authority within the Company.
  • Works on unusually complex technical problems and provides solutions which are highly innovative.
  • Determines and pursues courses of action necessary to obtain desired results.
  • Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 10 - 12 years of experience or a Master's with 8 - 10 years of experience.
  • Must have an active Top Secret with SCI eligibility
Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
