Job Description:

Provide statistical and mathematical support to analyze and interpret a wide range of geospatial data in order to provide customer solutions. Works with various stakeholders to present and operationalize data to achieve actionable insights to drive customer strategy and decisions. Applies intermediate-level analytic capabilities to solve complex problems from a combination of unstructured, semi-structured, and structured data.

  • Maintains, moves, and manipulates data between applications, using appropriate software (e.g., Apache Spark, ElasticSearch, R, Python, Kibana and others as technology evolves).
  • Utilizes industry standard communication and visualization tools to visualize and communicate complex quantitative information and analysis.
  • Identifies meaningful insights from large data and metadata sources; interprets and communicates insights and findings from analysis to customer and other stakeholders with required/appropriate documentation.
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience within related field and 3 - 6 years of related experience. Relevant educational concentrations: Geography, GIS, Geoscience, Geostatistics, Statistics, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Data Science, or Computer Science.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance is required.
  • Proficiency with software packages and technologies: Esri ArcMap, ArcPro, Insights, Google Earth, Amazon Web Service, WebAppBuilder, QGIS, OpenGeo, MapProxy, Geoserver, and GeoWebCace.
  • Intermediate proficiency with R, Stata, or Python for statistical and geospatial analysis.

  • Ability to leverage a range of data sources to gain an understanding of what drives a positive customer experience.
  • Ability to develop mathematical algorithms and applications in response to complex requirements.
  • Strength in collaboration and teamwork within, between, and across organizational boundaries.
  • Must demonstrate good oral and written communication skills, along with good interpersonal skills and an ability to work cooperatively and effectively as a team member. #CJ
Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
