Financial Analyst/Data Analyst

In this role, you lead the administration of the activity-based costing system, build, develop and maintain data models, reports, dashboards, and data automation processes that support key business decisions. You will need to be strong in both finance, technical and data mining skills, as well as interpersonal skills and be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Understand and utilize data to make data-driven decisions on designs, solutions and use data to guide others in making decisions and future strategy planning.
  • Ensure data integrity between various financial systems.
  • Provide input related to data needs to further improve the flow of information through different technology platforms
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the accounting system design, particularly as it relates to data flow.
  • Complement the Reporting & Insights team with a data structure that supports reporting to analyze evolving key business performance metrics.
  • Act as subject matter expert and represents data needs to support the implementation, evaluation, monitoring, and maintenance of all information systems related to the finance department.
  • Act as liaison between financial reporting, general ledger accounting and various IT teams.
  • Analyze problems, formulate solutions and alternatives, decide on the solution, and if necessary, collaborate with other IT/business groups to formulate project plan be completed to achieve the expected results.
  • Monitor data accuracy and flow through financial systems and communicate exceptions and variations, correct failures and restore the system as required to maintain a reliable and predictable operation in a timely manner that minimizes the adverse effects to business demands.



  • Bachelor's degree required in Finance, Management Information Systems or similar majors.
  • Experience with P&L analysis, spreadsheet modeling
  • Exceptional business partnering skills
  • Advanced knowledge of computer skills and applications including, but not limited to - SQL, data mining applications, MS Office Applications - Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
  • Ability to adapt to new technology
  • Action oriented with high initiative and ability to think independently
  • High level of knowledge of financial modules, accounting transactions and accounting. data flows as necessary to understand the impacts to financial reporting.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial systems tools and ability to adapt to new technology.

Estimated Hiring Range:
$66,500.00 - $96,500.00
