Sr. Manager, Performance Analytics

Job Summary
The Strategy and Performance Analytics group provides business critical insights, ensures cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps drive the performance of the growth, marketing, and sales organization. The group focuses on aligning the highest-level company priorities with a strong pulse on day-to-day trends and operations. The team is looking for someone who can leverage Comcast's abundant data assets to perform in-depth analysis, solve complex problems and become a trusted partner of our marketing partners, the broader XGIE teams, and divisional stakeholders. Responsibilities include performance reporting, opportunity sizing, short-term forecasting, and scenario planning for various strategic initiatives with a primary focus on movers. This will entail developing and maintaining standard reports as well as performing ad-hoc analyses. Leveraging this reporting tied to Comcast's strategic goals will ensure alignment and pinpoint areas of opportunity and risk. Role typically manages one or more groups of professional employees.

Core Responsibilities
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail coupled with the ability to aggressively manage deadlines and goals.
  • Ability to handle ambiguity, juggle many tasks at once and quickly shift from one situation or task to another.
  • Expert in SQL with proven track record working in large datasets; experience in other programming languages (Python, R) a plus.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools including Teradata, Hive, Tableau, and PrestoSQL.
  • Ability to synthesize actionable insights by joining large data sets and applying appropriate analytical techniques.
  • Communicates findings clearly and concisely through narrative-driven presentations and effective data visualizations.
  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills with proven problem-solving and collaboration abilities.
  • Develops new ideas and communicates potential uses for analytics across the business.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
