This role is part of a well established CoE Team responsible for Global FMC Anaplan program providing planning capabilities to 10+ divisions with ~40 production Anaplan models deployed. Working as a member of the Strategic Business Initiatives Team in Corporate Finance, the Center of Excellent (CoE) Analyst will be responsible for assisting in the enterprise maintenance and new implementation use cases of Anaplan for financial modeling across the FMCNA enterprise.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

Working as a member of the Strategic Business Initiatives Team in Corporate Finance, the Center of Excellent (CoE) FS Analyst will be responsible for assisting in the enterprise wide maintenance and build-out of the application tool for financial modeling across the FMCA enterprise. This includes but not limited to financial planning, forecasting, workforce planning, and other key financial reporting and modeling functions. The FS Analyst will be responsible for assisting in maintenance, new project requirements, implementation, and post-implementation enhancements of the financial planning tool across FMCNA.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with key members of the FMCNA finance teams and coordinate activities required for maintenance and enhancement of the CoE built applications
  • Assist in the maintenance, design and development of Anaplan models to support FMCNA's financial planning process
  • Work with direct supervisor to coordinate the overall architecture, design, development, and maintenance of reporting solutions and related Anaplan capabilities
  • Work with business representatives and IT application owners to establish and manage project priorities and scope of planning tool needs
  • Interact with end users to understand their experience with the applications, identify new requirements and implement them in subsequent apps releases
  • Assist product development by providing assessment of your experience and suggesting ways to develop future features
  • Monitor data flows to and from internal systems to ensure all data is up-to-date and accurate; act as liaison for distributing and collecting data
  • Assist in the coordination, support and monitoring of all Anaplan project activities and progress
  • Development and writing of detailed business requirements
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
  • Assist with various projects as assigned by a direct supervisor
  • Support Finance community by providing expert level support and sharing of best practices in application development
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION :

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Advanced Degree desirable

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 2-4 years' related experience in one of the following fields Financial Analysis/Business Intelligence; or a Master's degree in Finance or Computer Science without experience ; or equivalent directly related work experience.
  • Desired but not required 1+ years of experience building models with widely used planning and analytics applications such as Anaplan, Hyperion, SAP BPC, Cognos TM1, Business Objects, Qlick, Tableau, Power BI, Access
  • Have experience or desire to learn new technologies including robotic process automation
  • Anaplan experience preferred
  • Demonstrate outstanding analytical and quantitative skills
  • Excellent computer skills with advanced proficiency in word processing, Excel including macros, complex charts and pivot tables, database skills, PowerPoint/presentation and email applications.
  • Preferred experience in working as a liaison between business/finance operations and IT.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with all levels of management and with end users.
