The Robotic Process Automation (RPA) developer will be working to automate manual user provisioning for a verity of applications by developing proprietary RPA solutions using UIPath.

This position will require to work with business teams to develop automation using standard RPA principles and conventions.

Key responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business and technology teams to analyze and assess automation feasibility
  • Conceptualize a business process to an automated solution
  • Design, build, program, test and deploy Robotic Process Automation (RPA) software solutions using an Agile methodology.
  • Understand business process requirements and design
  • Demonstrate an understanding of concepts, best practices and functions to implement an RPA solution in a corporate environment
  • Experience in troubleshooting, RPA development processes, and ability to understand and implement client requirements.
  • Enforce design and coding standards, policies and procedures
  • Perform quality review of automated solutions and proved feedback to junior team members
  • Serve as technical mentor to team members
  • Report status, issues and risks on assigned projects
  • Present technical concepts to non-technical audience
  • Manage multiple RPA projects

  • 1 or more years of experience in at least one of the programming tools/languages (e.g., C#, .NET, JSON and VB scripting, Python)
  • 1 or more years of relevant RPA experience developing attended and unattended software automation projects using UiPath/ Robotics Process Automation (RPA) or similar Robotic Process Automation technologies (e.g. UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism)
  • 1 or more years of experience with databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, etc.) and application development
  • 2 or more years working in the software development life cycle, preferably with .NET, developing customized solutions from design through implementation.
  • Solid understanding of Robotics processes, approaches, methodologies and development lifecycle.
  • Experience working with APIs and other forms of software integrations
  • Identify reusable components and patterns as well as ensure consistently in design across use-cases built using RPA.
  • Experience providing guidance, solutions, and maintenance to end users in a software development or technical support environment.
  • You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting, however, may be required to work from home temporarily due to space limitations.
  • Employees are required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener prior to entering the work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders. In addition, when in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are expected to wear a mask in areas where physical distancing cannot be attained.

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g. Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering)
  • Experience using RESTful APIs
  • Experience in other programming tools/languages (Javascript, JSON ,VB scripting, Python) with strong UI/Front-End proficiency.
  • UIPath Certification preferred or "Certified RPA Developer/Architect" in RPA is a plus.
