Job Description

• Support a team of senior credit and research analysts responsible for the credit management of investments in Consumer and Commercial Asset Backed Securities (ABS), Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities (CMBS), Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLO) and Global Covered Bonds for the bank's core investment portfolio.
• Manage trading limit recommendations for the TDS Securitization Trading Desk across a portfolio of ABS issuers.
• Contribute to the analysis and preparation of credit request submissions related to the ABS, CMBS, CLO and Covered Bond investments.
• Conduct market, industry and issuer/servicer research and analysis in support of credit recommendations relating to existing and new investments.
• Monitor portfolio asset quality and performance trends of ABS, CMBS, CLOs and Covered Bond transactions including underlying loan attributes and performance drivers across the consumer and commercial finance, CRE and leveraged finance markets.
• The position supports contributions to the accurate and timely production of daily, monthly and quarterly internal reports and presentations.
• Support the various monitoring and control requirements of the investment portfolio.

Job Requirements

• A core competency of the ideal candidate is the ability to work efficiently to gather and comprehend various data sets and investment attributes and clearly articulate investment decisions and supporting rationale.


• Bachelor's degree and proven academic background required.
• Up to 3 years of relevant professional experience is preferred.
• Exceptional quantitative, verbal and written communication skills required.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office with a particular emphasis on Excel.
• Work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with internal and external partners.
• Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrate strong governance, control and risk management behaviors.
