As a GPS team member, you will define and drive the GSK Production System (GPS) strategy within the site, leading and driving the site GPS community network. These responsibilities include some of the following: Work with Site Leadership Teams (SLT) and GPS Community to set and implement the GPS strategy for the site Works autonomously to clarify problems and align people to solve those problems at all levels of the organization. Work with aligned team to solve problems together and build continuous improvement capability Actively measures the growth of continuous improvement capability with their aligned team Plays a key role in facilitating site Strategy Deployment for aligned departments Drive the execution of business-critical improvements across the site (i.e. lead-time, productivity) with direct and significant impact on the mid to long-term business results Engage and inspire the leadership teams to set challenging targets and provide tools and methodologies to assist them in the delivery of their objectives Contribute to the development and use of relevant business performance indicators Provide LEAN Six Sigma expert advice, support, coaching and mentoring to leaders and their teams Lead and drive a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure best practices/knowledge sharing, effective collaborative working, and synergies across the manufacturing group Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Science or Engineering 5+ years of experience with Manufacturing, Engineering, and/or Logistics Experience in leading Kaizen Events or process improvements Green Belt or equivalent in LEAN/Six Sigma Experience in coaching Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: Experience with Biopharmaceuticals, Biochemistry, Biology, Biotechnology Black Belt, or Master Black Belt Lean/6 Sigma Certification Change Management experience including leadership of complex projects/programs and teams Military experience Ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization Experience in using VoC to drive continuous improvement Demonstrated ability to lead and align teams without authority Why GSK?
